UCAF

Umam Creative Arts Foundation — building the next generation of thinkers, problem-solvers, and institutional leaders.

What it is

The short version

UCAF is a youth-led non-profit founded in 2022 in Zaria, Kaduna State. Its mission is to transform education into a system that produces thinkers, innovators, and institutional leaders.

The work spans career and talent workshops, design-thinking education, teacher training, leadership programming, and community advocacy — delivered through flagship programs like EduFest, PIGTEC, and the Build Her Art Project.

UCAF is where much of the Group's method was proven: design thinking as a way to build people, not just products.

Who it serves — Students and young people across northern Nigeria, the teachers and schools that work with them, and the partners and funders who back the programs.
